Will you GO to Vancouver?

[Wed, November 04, 2009] There are so many opportunities for you to "GO" with Global Youth Missions. One of the Canadian opportunities In 2010 is heading to Vancouver. There are two great opportunities for you to join with us to minister on the streets of Vancouver:

Vancouver Olympics 2010

Global Youth Missions is partnering with West Edmonton Christian Assembly and More Than Gold to take a team of up to ninety youth to do street ministry during the Olympics. During the Olympics there will be an influx of about one million people in Vancouver. It is our goal on this missions trip to be in and around the Olympic venues to share the Love of Christ with people that have come from all over the world. There is room on the team for youth groups, leaders, and individuals to join us. Deadline to apply is on December 4th and the first training date is on December 6th.

Urban Ministries Spring Break

April 2nd to April 10th, this trip will be more focused on urban ministry. You will walk the streets of the downtown eastside, Canada's poorest postal code. Partnering with local urban ministries to reach those living on the streets of Vancouver. Deadline for applying for this trip will be in late January; this team has limited space so it would be beneficial to apply early.
We hope that you can be part of this ministry with us as we venture to Vancouver to minister in the spring and summer.
