Mike Love Goes to Thailand

In October I had the opportunity to make a quick trip to Thailand to speak at a youth Conference that was headed up by some Thai leaders who were passionate to see God move among the youth. It sure resembled our YC in many ways from format to purpose. There were 1200 students registered for this event and they were ready to encounter God from the first night on. There was such a passion for prayer, worship and the word of God.

I was absolutely amazed by their zeal and desire for the purposes of God. Each time I spoke I felt the presence of God flood that place and the altars were filled with those who were hungering and thirsting for more of God. I also had the opportunity to meet with some leaders to discuss the possibility of having GYM teams come in the future to minister to youth and to equip leaders. We hope to do this as early as the fall of 2008.
