The Dream

Every ministry that exists today has started with a dream and that dream has always been driven by a passion. The dream of Global Youth Missions started many years ago while a missions teacher and I were on a trip to Cuba. As our plane was preparing for a landing, I began to envision what it would be like if we had a thousand of us landing here. How much more could we accomplish for the kingdom then? As we dialogued more about it over the ten days we were there, God dropped a seed in my heart that has been growing ever since.

For years the vision of YC (our annual Youth Conference) has been to hear what God is saying to this generation and to see this generation mobilized for his purposes. Well we know what God is saying... go! The challenge is... who will go!

Global Youth Missions provides for us that very opportunity.

I believe Global Youth Missions will see hundreds of young Canadians make that sacrifice each year and go to the spiritually needy destinations of the world and present a relevant Gospel to all people in all places.

Our assignments will vary but the thrust of our mission will be to carry the Gospel in relevant ways to youth and young adults. The opportunities for ministry may include, English camps, youth rallies, Youth camps, street ministry, orphanages, leadership development, Sunday services and church planting projects.

Please pray about leading a team or taking this information to a leader in your church and joining us next summer. We are currently recruiting 20 teams to join us for next summer. Each team should consist of 7 - 12 maximum.
